KT Media Console

The KT Media Console takes principles applied to the D117 Collection and applies it to a piece of living room furniture that often creates headaches for the media savvy. Audio and Visual components create a mess of cables that are unsightly and difficult to reconfigure.

The exterior of the KT Media Console is constructed with solid American Walnut, and finger-jointed for extra strength while maintaining the mitered-corner look. Open slat door construction provides good ventilation as well as infrared remote control access. Behind those soft-closing solid walnut doors feature plenty of space to store physical media such as DVDs, Blu-ray Disks or gaming accessories.

The back of KT Media Console is what sets it apart from other media cabinets. After sliding the console away from the wall with its long-board wheels, the felt covers can be removed to open the cabinet up completely. This gives the maximum amount of freedom to configure all sorts of cables. There are also felt-covered openings to connect components resting on top of the media console.

When the configuration is done, simply hook the felt covers back onto the brass fittings and voila! The messiest, or the tidiest, cable management can be hidden away. Since the cover is flexible, it allows power or speaker cables to stream out of the console to its eventual destination.
