At David Hsu Design, we pride ourselves in designing minimalist, modern furniture and making them in the United States to support our local craftsmen.** We strive to create unique furniture that you'll want to keep and show off to your friends. We hope to stimulate creativity, promote the DIY spirit, and foster a sense of pride in the environment we live in.
Who is David Hsu?
David Hsu was born in Taiwan, raised in New Zealand, and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Columbia University in New York. While working in the field of information technology for photographers and designers, he longed to work in a more creative capacity so he returned to school in 2010 and received a master’s degree in Industrial Design from the Pratt Institute.
David is a military spouse currently residing in Virginia, looking forward to adventures ahead. He is open to collaborating on projects that seeks to delight and enrich the human experience.
